What Makes Our Production Different?

1. Exclusive materials such as CorriGlen®, a recycled fluted polypropylene board, offer quality and true sustainability. 

2. High-efficiency UV LED printing: All of our UV curing printers use modern Cold Cure LED lamps: a more sustainable, energy-efficient technology with no hazardous waste. 

3. Total in-process accountability: Every employee who works on an order, signs off their part of the process, ensuring quality is owned by everyone.

4. On-demand production: We print to order so remain responsive to bespoke requirements and rapid-turnaround needs.

5. Practical innovation: Our customer services team can help to specify the best way to fix or display signage or advise on suitability of substrates for specific applications. 

Quality Assurance at Every Stage

Quality runs through everything we do, not as an afterthought, but as a culture. All materials entering our warehouse are inspected for condition and quality before being accepted. Damaged or sub-standard materials are refused or returned, ensuring only suitable stock enters our workflow.

• All of our printers are professionally profiled and colour-matched, ensuring consistent output across machines and over time.
• We can measure and match Pantone-certified colours, ensuring brand consistency across the board on all orders.
• Our employees sign each job to confirm quality at every stage, encouraging honesty, accountability and the confidence to report issues early.

We also hold the Buildmark Common Assessment Standard and SSIP accreditations. These externally audited endorsements evidence our compliance with health & safety, environmental performance, quality, and more. We are also Gold-Level Members of the Supply Chain Sustainability School and A Disability Confident Employer (Level 2).

Trusted Supplier Partnerships

We choose not to disclose our suppliers’ details but our partnership standards are anything but secret. We rely on a network of UK and international suppliers for component materials, inks, fixings and packaging, and each is assessed rigorously.

• Annual Self-Assessment Questionnaires: Required for key suppliers to maintain our SSIP and Common Assessment Standard accreditations.
• Risk Mapping: We assess suppliers based on published geographical and sector-related modern slavery risks.
• Environmental and Quality Checks: We review environmental performance and quality processes, seeking continuous improvement.
• Ethical and CSR Requirements: Good labour practices, equality, anti-bribery measures and information security are essential.

Certifications such as ISO can be useful to support the process, but what matters most to us is proven compliance with our standards and values.

Sustainability is not just an added feature, it underpins our supply chain. Our sustainability commitments include: 

• Exclusive CorriGlen®: A 100% recycled, fully recyclable polypropylene substrate produced and supplied solely for Glendining Signs.
• Energy-Efficient Printing: Low energy, efficient print technology and environmentally certified inks reduce our overall environmental impact.
• Waste Reduction: We prioritise recycled cardboard packaging and minimise single-use plastics. We also operate multiple recycling streams in-house to minimise waste going to landfill.
• Carbon Neutral Since January 2024: Demonstrating our long-term climate commitments.
• Ethical Supply Chain: We work only with partners who align with our environmental and human rights standards.
